About PulseWork Core
Dedicated to cultivating analytical discipline, objective tape reading skills, and structural market literacy for active traders and financial analysts.
Our Origin & Academy History
PulseWork Core was formally established in 2018 by market technician and veteran instructor Kim Jihun in Ulsan, South Korea. Having spent over a decade analyzing equity markets, index futures, and commodities across Asian financial centers, Jihun observed that retail and institutional junior analysts routinely fell into the trap of indicator clutter and lagging chart patterns.
What began in 2018 as a small weekly chart study salon in Nam-gu, Ulsan quickly grew into a formal training academy. Our curriculum was structured around a core pedagogical commitment: teaching market mechanics directly from raw bar spread, relative volume turnover, and mathematically calibrated momentum oscillators rather than vague, subjective shapes.
Over the past eight years, PulseWork Core has trained hundreds of discretionary traders, private capital managers, and equity research analysts through our intensive cohort format, hands-on tape reading labs, and private 1-on-1 execution audits.

Principles That Govern Our Training
Objective Structural Reading
Every market entry must be justified by visible structural facts: volume effort vs. price progress, closing tick positions, and defined support-resistance boundaries.
Small Cohorts & Accountability
We deliberately cap our flagship intensive cohorts at 12 students to ensure every participant receives direct, weekly 1-on-1 chart journal review with the lead instructor.
Pre-Defined Invalidation Rules
Technical analysis is an exercise in risk mitigation. We train students to establish unambiguous invalidation levels anchored in volume structure before any execution.
